Do you start each New Year with the best of intentions but easily forget about them a few weeks in?
How about flipping your ideas of achievement, success and failure on its head and finish the year with a bang.
Have you got something grating on your conscience that you wished you’d done, something that you would love to finish the year having completed, or something that would give you the ultimate sense of satisfaction to do before the year ends?
It’s easy to beat yourself up for having ‘failed’ your New Years ‘Resolutions.’ Life is ever evolving, it changes, there are obstacles, there are temptations and stuff happens. Instead try changing your mindset and reflect upon everything that you have achieved this year that you may not have expected or predicted would happen; Did you reach a milestone, did you get a promotion at work, did you enter a new relationship or cut loose a bad one? Did you take an unexpected trip, did you do a course that taught you something new.
I encourage you to spend 5 minutes to write 5 things down that are on your Christmas Wish List (Wishmas List).
Once you’ve got this list and achieved it, now use it as a catalyst to continue to set and reach your future targets without letting them slide.
So sit back and enjoy a drink as you welcome in the New Year knowing that you’ve got the ‘resolutions, ’ ‘intentions’ and ‘goals’ all SORTED!
