evo Febfast Challenge

Once the holiday season and Australia Day are under our belts, Feb is a great time to set yourself a healthy eating challenge. Even better, do it in conjunction with evo and Febfast and you can raise money for a great cause and be in the running to win a $250 Red Balloon Voucher from us!

We have taken the Febfast concept and added an evo twist to turbo charge it! The way we are going to do it is give you a specific unhealthy food type each week that you have to give up for that week and the remainder of Feb. So by the end of Feb, you will have cut out 4 things all together and hopefully make it a lasting change for the long term.

Week 1: Sweet Treats
Mon 3rd onwards - cut out all sweet treats (chocolate, fizzy drinks, sports drinks, lollies, cakes, fruit breads, ice cream etc)

Week 2: Simple Carbs
Mon 10th onwards - in addition to sweet treats, cut out simple carbs (no bread, pasta, rice, white potatoes)

Week 3: Processed Foods
Mon 17th onwards - in addition to week 1 and 2 items, cut out all processed foods (canned food, ready meals, frozen meals, packet meals, sachet meals / snacks)

Week 4: Alcoholic Drinks
Mon 24th onwards, in addition to week 1 to 3 items, cut out alcoholic drinks (its only 1 week!)

How does the challenge work?

  • STEP 1: sign up to the competition mailing list.
  • STEP 2: Officially register for Febfast Sugar and Join the evo FebFast Challenge team at febfast.org.au . Click 'Join This Team’ on our Team Page.
  • STEP 3: Starting Feb 3rd, give up an unhealthy food type each week for the 4 weeks, starting with sweat treats.
  • STEP 4: Instragram at least 1 picture each week showing what you have cut out or a healthy meal / drink with the hashtag #evoFebFast and tag @evo2wellbeing

The qualifying person with the healthiest set of 4 Instagram posts (as chosen by our judges) will WIN:

  • A $250 Red Balloon Voucher
  • A limited edition evo cap
