1. Eat a large variety of vegetables at every meal. Incorporate as many colours into your day as possible to ensure you are maximizing the vitamins and minerals into your diet.
2. Take some top quality probiotics or include fermented vegetables every day
3. Make sure you have enough Zinc in your diet. Zinc is involved in the development of white blood cells so helps to fight infections. Many people are low in zinc
4. Stay hydrated. Many people decrease their water intake at this time of year because they aren’t as thirsty. Dehydrated cells take even longer to recover from illness and infection
5. Encourage staff/ co-workers to stay at home when they’re sick… that’s what sick days are for
6. Get out of the office at lunchtime- suck in the fresh air, get some vitamin D not to mention to clear your head of the stress of your day
