You Move Me Fundraiser Night

August 7, 2014

7pm

Eastern Suburbs, Australia

Come and join us for an intimate chat with our you move me ambassador Korrin Barrett.

A routine medical procedure left an otherwise perfectly healthy Korrin fighting for her life and having 4 limbs amputated.

Korrin’s story while sad and confronting is also incredibly inspiring as you get to understand her perspective on life despite the cards she has been dealt.

Korrin is coming to Sydney to address the students of Redham High School and we have asked her to come and talk to a select group of evolution clients the evening before.

Contact mike@etwgroup.com to enquire about tickets.

The evening will also be used as an opportunity to talk more about our anticipated to trip to Bolivia in 2015 along with Korrin.

We hope you can join us.

"The great thing about You Move Me is that it can mean so many different things to different people. People might draw on it as a motivator on those on those mornings when you’d just rather roll over and go back to sleep, for others it might just inspire them to be faster, stronger or fitter. I completely appreciate I am lucky enough to be motivated in my training so I’m not necessarily reaching for motivators to get me out of bed each morning and be ready to train at 6am. But what I absolutely love about You Move Me is that it really makes me appreciate how lucky we are to be fit, healthy and able to get out in the great outdoors and be active every single day. You Move Me looks out for those people who are not as lucky. So I see it as a real win win for me. I get to do something I love and am grateful for the ability to be able to do and someone else benefits from that. The ability to be able to move more freely and be more active opens up so many doors for these people and allows them to participate more fully in life. The fact that I played a little part in that simply by participating more fully in my life is really kinda cool!"

"Here is an opportunity to help those who are not privileged like I am, who are not mobile like I am, who have not the resources or contacts to make life a little better.
I have the blessing of being able to freely run and exercise to whatever capacity I choose and by doing so a little of what I can give can help another in this project to have the opportunity to move in a way that was impossible previously.
To truly appreciate what I have been given encourages me to give back to those who are less fortunate than I am. Not out of pity, but out of a genuine love to help others less fortunate than myself because  to me that is true living.
There are many wonderful reasons why I train with Evo. One of those reasons is the respect I have for the vision to not be self centred about our training, but to use our training for the good of others. What joy!!"
