The evo South Yarra outdoor fitness group kicked off in 2011 at Como Park on the river. It is a welcoming, open group who are committed to their training but enjoy the social side of things. It is nothing like the feel of a military style bootcamp.
You can be sure that when you train with evolution, you’ll be getting the best of both worlds: a constantly changing workout suited to your individual ability level and designed to help you reach your goals; as well as being part of a committed and determined, close-knit team, led by an evolutionary (lead trainer) who knows that you’re much more than just another body.
With a wide variety of training on offer, you may find yourself running or boxing in one session, and working with a medicine ball or kettlebells in the next. Generally there are two trainers at each session which not only provides diversity of session content, but also allows us to keep a close eye on you to assist with your technique and encourage your progress. Whether five pushups is your max or you can pump out sets one-handed, you’ll find your fitness level catered to by your evolutionary.
Our main location in South Yarra, Como Park North, is set back from the Yarra river. It provides a great area for training, plus the river path for a challenging run route.
As well as this we use other nearby locations through the week to add variety of location, views and terrain to an already varied timetable of activities

Terry started his evolution in 2012. After deciding to change careers, Terry qualified as a trainer, built up his experience and took the helm at South Yarra. Terry is as committed as they come and mad keen on obstacle course races like Tough Mudder and Spartan Race, as well as playing a bit of American Football.
